From the late 19th’s till now, brownie remains an American favourite dessert. Earlier, brownies were simple and chocolatey. But over time, variation appeared. Bakers were adding creative touches day by day.

Nuts, marshmallows, caramel, and whatnot? Even diet brownies are available. Although there are a lot of brownie recipes, most are complicated yet not healthy or delicious. 

So, I’m going to share some homemade brownie recipes. And I assure you, these will be healthy yet delicious. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

Classic Fudgy Brownie

How To Make a Classic Fudgy Brownie?

Step 1 – Prep the pan

First things first, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Note: Leave a little extra paper hanging over the sides so you can lift the brownie out easily.

Step 2 – Mix Wet Ingredients

Now, melt the butter and let it cool down. Then, take a bowl and pour it. Now, pour the brown sugar and sugar and whisk them properly. After sugar is smooth, beat in the eggs(one at a time), then add vanilla and mix it.

Step 3- Add Dry Ingredients

After that, sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gently fold. After everything is together, stop mixing. 

Note: Don’t overmix. It can make brownie cakey instead of fudgy. 

Step 4- Bake

Now it’s time to bake. Pour the mixture and spread it evenly. Bake for 25 minutes. 

Note: If you like extra chocolate, you can add some chocolate chips here. Use a toothpick to check it. 

Step 5- Cool & Serve

Before serving, let it cool completely. Then lift them out using extra parchment. Now, cut them into 9 fudgy squares. 

Marshmallow Brownie

This version of brownie makes a fun dessert for family or parties without complicated steps.

How To Make Marshmallow Brownie?

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.

Step 4

Fold in flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt until combined.

Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle mini marshmallows evenly on top. Cover with the remaining batter.

Eggless Healthy Brownie

These brownies are perfect when I want indulgence with better-for-you ingredients.

How To Make?

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

Step 2: Then mix coconut oil with coconut sugar and mashed banana until smooth.

Step 3: After that, add vanilla extract and stir until combined.

Step 4: Now sift in flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Fold gently to form a smooth batter.

Step 5: Then pour batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.

Step 6: Bake for 28-32 minutes. Cool before slicing. Serve.

Serving Suggestion

  1. I always serve brownies warm. It goes amazingly with ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. 
  2. To make it presentable, sprinkle powdered sugar or fresh berries.
