Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Fresh turmeric Grated, (or 1 tbsp ground)
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh ginger Grated
  • ¼ Tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Cinnamon stick  Small
  • 2 Cloves Optional
  • ½ Cup Raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 Cup Water

Instructions

  • First, take a saucepan. Add water, ginger, and turmeric to it. Then let everything simmer on low heat
  • Add black pepper, cinnamon, and cloves into the pan. Let everything simmer again for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Now strain the liquid into a bowl
  • Once it cools slightly, add maple syrup or raw honey to it
  • Stir everything until they fully combine
  • Transfer the syrup into a clean glass jar and store it in the refrigerator
